Tuning of Active Disturbance Rejection Control with application to power plant furnace regulation

Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) is emerging as a promising solution in dealing with the unmeasurable disturbances and unknown uncertainties, which are treated in a lumped manner and augmented as an extended state variable. Subsequently, an extended state observer (ESO) is designed to estimate and cancel the combined uncertain term in real time, modifying the uncertain plant to behave like a nominal model consisting of integrators. In the original ADRC formulation, the plant model is assumed to be of delay-free and its order is assumed to be equal to that of the real plant. However, a low-order ADRC is preferred and received a wide acceptance in practice because of its simplicity. Currently, the feasibility of such practice is not clearly revealed as well as its potential dangers. To this end, this paper analyzes the control mechanism from the perspective of the modified plant, which, in turn, would give guidance to parameter tuning. The effect of each parameter on the compensation efficiency and stability conditions of the modified plant is analyzed, based on which a complete tuning procedure for ADRC is developed where the initial settings is derived from the existing PI controller parameters. Finally, the proposed tuning method is experimentally used for a furnace pressure regulation of a 1000MW power plant, validating the feasibility of the low-order ADRC, even in the absence of both dynamic model and the information on the model order.     

七层熔融共挤出石头纸在昆钢的工业化实践

通过制备印刷层、遮盖层、发泡层、增强层母料,再将上述各挤入层的熔融胶状物通过同一模头挤出发泡,经常规三辊压光、冷却、牵引、收卷,即得到七层熔融共挤出石头纸。采用该方法制备的石头纸,挺度好、印刷适应性好,比重低,不透明度高、平滑度好、厚度均匀,各项性能指标符合GB/T22806-2008"白卡纸"的性能指标要求,可用于印制美术印刷品、卡片、名片、包装纸盒等。该制备方法在云南昆钢石头纸环保材料有限得到工业化实践。     

数字化核电厂班组SSA测度方法与实验研究

情景意识(SA)问题在数字化核电厂中更为突出。为识别班组共享情景意识（SSA）水平及行为形成因子（PSF）对班组SSA的影响，基于情景意识全面评估技术（SAGAT）建立一种班组SSA测量和计算方法并进行模拟机实验。结果表明，个体SA（ISA）水平与SSA水平有关，ISA级别越高，SSA级别越高；ISA和班组SSA都受到PSF的影响，PSF的状态水平越高，ISA和SSA的水平越高；对于不同的实验场景，操纵员的ISA水平和班组SSA水平不同，这表明风险场景的症状越明显及知识经验水平越好，ISA和SSA水平就越高。最后，通过被试的自评价识别当前PSF的状态水平，主要不良的PSF是班组沟通和合作水平、压力水平、人-机界面等。这些评估结果为提高数字化核电厂人因可靠性和安全水平提供了理论支持。     

Crowding as an Agronomic Factor Determining the Development of Plants and the Productivity of Linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.)

ABSTRACT

Nine sowing densities of linseed were compared in a two-year experiment. Self-regulation of the density of a linseed stand resulted in a differentiated branching of the plants. The number of capsules on a linseed shoot, as well as seeds in the capsule, and the number of seeds from the shoot were highly varied from year to year, and there is even a stronger differentiation in the weight of 1000 seeds. Linear relationships were noted between the mass of seeds from the linseed plant and the number of capsules. The yield of linseed was affected by both factors. An increasing sowing rate reduced the seed yield from the shoot and the plant. At lower seeding rates, the lateral shoots contributed in the seeds yield of the plant to a higher degree compared to the main ones.

以某电厂为背景,针对其中的全膜法展开探讨,涉及到工艺流程、相关构筑物以及设备参数等多方面内容,并将其与离子交换法进行了对比分析,结果显示,全膜法的可行性更高,能达到无酸碱排放的效果,能够发挥出显著的社会效益,以期给相关工程提供可行参考,由此推动电厂炉给水处理工作的持续开展。     

From a local community to a global influence. How elBulli restaurant created a new epistemic movement in the world of haute cuisine

Location plays a major role in the building of artistic, technological or scientific movements that emerge in specific locations before achieving a worldwide reach. However, a deeper understanding is needed about the interplay of local/global knowledge dynamics in the epistemic construction of a movement. Based on an in-depth longitudinal study of a critical case, this article sheds light on these issues by analysing the case of ‘techno-emotional cuisine’, a global gastronomic movement initiated and led by chef Ferran Adrià and his team at the restaurant elBulli in Catalonia (in Northern Spain). The results suggest that the dynamics of formation of a new epistemic movement depend on the form and nature of the interactions between the local buzz and global pipelines, and on the capacity of the originating community to develop and diffuse the new rules and ‘episteme’ on a global scale while consolidating them locally.     

Exchanging social support on online teacher groups: Relation to teacher self-efficacy

The present study explored the relation between exchanging social support on online teacher groups and teacher self-efficacy. An online survey was conducted inside a massive Facebook teacher group, and 584 elementary school teachers provided information regarding Facebook use, self-efficacy for creative teaching, and the extent to which they provided and received support on the online teacher group. Results showed that teacher self-efficacy varied as a function of years of teaching experience, length of group membership, and the extent to which teachers provided and received social support on the online teacher group. Furthermore, the providing of online support predicted teacher self-efficacy after taking into account the effects of teaching experience and group membership. The findings are discussed in terms of the features and importance of social support exchange on online teacher support groups.
